What is a Labiaplasty?

After the Procedure

There may be some discomfort in the area during your recovery, and pain medications are often prescribed to help relieve the pain. Bleeding and swelling may also occur as well, however, it is often just minimal. Dr. Placik and the nurses will contribute to give you the proper advice on how to stay comfortable after your labia treatment.


After you have the labiaplasty done, the recovery time is about a week before you can return back to work, so it doesn’t interfere with too much work time. Sexual activity can be resumed about 3 weeks after the procedure.
